1936 - 2021
Webber Dean Dartt, age 84, passed away at his home in Huntington Beach on January 23, 2021. Dean is survived by his dearly beloved children, Kelly, Elizabeth, and Joseph; his wonderful granddaughter, Bailey; and by his life-long friend and business partner Joe Coghill. He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Opal Webber Dartt, and his brother, Blaine. Dean was born on October 31, 1936 in Kennett, Missouri, and as a small child moved with his family to California. After graduation from Long Beach Poly High School, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, and was stationed in England and in Guam. Returning home, Dean put his G.I. Bill benefits to good purpose and enrolled in Long Beach's Reno's School of Beauty. Becoming a multi-talented hairstylist with numerous awards to his credit, in later years, Dean came to be co-owner of four Southern California salons, and served as president of the Long Beach Hairdressers Guild. He was widely recognized as an outstanding businessman. The family is deeply grateful for the extraordinary care their father received, and wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, and caregivers of Long Beach VA Medical Center and Hospital, Roze Room Hospice, and Archangel Care Services. Private interment will take place at Rose Hills Memorial Park following cremation. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Orange County Chapter.

Webber, I thought of as a brother. He was around my life as I grew. I don't remember life before him in my family. I'm saddened by his passing, love to his children. Sally Pasanelli
