February 20, 2020, was a sad day for everyone who knew and loved Vicki Lynn Tedesco. She was only 69 years old when she passed away, but she did a lot of loving in those years.
Born in Spencer, Iowa, her family relocated to Southern California when she was four. Vicki graduated from Huntington Beach High School and always lived on the Coast. She spent 13 years in Seal Beach and the last 38 in Long Beach.
In her twenties with her family, she enjoyed the sports snow skiing and tennis, and, in her thirties, it was golf.
Vicki always loved cars, so it's no surprise that in her forties, she became a "Track Rat." Most weekends, she and her husband, Greg, would compete on the Big Track with the boys. She was often faster than most and enjoyed the bragging rights.
She loved to travel and saw a lot of the world. Before she got sick, she took her granddaughter, Alexandra, on a European Cruise for a college graduation present. They enjoyed Barcelona, Italy, France, Greece and Monte Carlo. A year later, she took her daughter, Temre, on the same trip, having a great time and making beautiful memories.
She also was so proud of her grandson, Jacob, set to graduate from college this year.
Vicki was known for her immaculate taste and style with her love for beautiful clothes and beautiful things.
She is survived by her loving husband, Greg Tedesco, her daughter, Temre Smith and grandchildren Alexandra and Jacob McFarland.
She will be missed by all who knew her. R.I.P.
A celebration of life will be held on a later date.
