I believe your Jewel was my first nursing Supervisor at Long Beach Memorial Med. Ctr., beginning in Jan 1977. (If those dates correlate with your Jewel's work history, I have the correct person..... to mourn. Jewel hired me as a new grad RN, right out of school, and was my direct Supervisor for a number of years. She could be tough but was always, always fair. She taught me a great deal. I am so sorry to see that she is gone from this world..... and so much hope she finds peace and eternal life in the next. My best wishes to all of her family and friends..... I will never forget her!

We were classmates from elementary school in Spindale through high school at RS Central High School. Jewell was an excellent friend and was loved by all. She was highly respected for her basketball skills and friendly attitude. Her smile will be greatly missed by so many who have contacted me to share their memories of our classmate. Rest in peace dear friend and may all who loved you be comforted that you are in loving hands and care. Prayers for us all who loved her, but especially for her family.
