Gerald T. Deppe, 76, of Long Beach, passed away quietly at home after a very short battle with colon cancer. He worked at Flour International Construction for nearly 40 years. "Ted" was known for his giant humor, colorful language and his complete dedication to his family and friends. He will be missed by many. He is survived by his wife, Sandy, and his children, John and Joanna. The family will host a Celebration of his life on Friday, Aug. 25, from 1-5p.m. at Joe Jost's, 2803 E. Anaheim St.
