Andrew John Sorensen, 88, of Long Beach, died at home in his sleep, Aug. 25. He was born in Chicago, Ill.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Mary, daughter Victoria Gammer (Dr.Steven), granddaughters Sarabeth Sutton Wicks (John), & Meredith Sutton.
He was a stockbroker at Dean Witter for 20 years & an arbitrator for the NY Stock Exchange & the NASD for 15. He was a member of: Sons of Norway, Norwegian Chamber of Commerce, Southern CA Tuna Club, LBYC, Owls, Motor Patrol, & Footprinter Assoc. He loved fishing, sailing, & Norwegian woodcarving.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sept. 18, from 1-3 at Long Beach Yacht Club.
